We've reached the last month studying through the letter of James. This section is a good wrap up to the rest of the study. While James mainly talks about prayer in these last verses, he also restates some of the key themes of the letter, such as going through trials
Last month, the focus was on the oppressors – James warned them of coming judgment. This month, we'll be shifting the focus to the victims – being patient because the Lord is coming. For me, this was a hard section to read through in James because I struggle with being patient.

The section of James we're in this month is, "Warning to the Rich." It can be easy to think, "I'm not rich, so this doesn't apply to me"; however, I don't want you to check out and assume nothing in these verses can be applied to you and your life.
